Acceptable Use & Security Policy

This policy defines permitted use, security controls, and consequences of misuse for MyTransferTeacher.

This policy exists to:
• Protect students, parents, and schools
• Prevent account sharing and licence abuse
• Maintain fair and secure platform usage
• Safeguard educational integrity

All users must comply with this policy.

General Acceptable Use Rules

Users may use MyTransferTeacher only for:
• SEAG Transfer Test preparation
• Personal learning (parents)
• Institutional learning (schools)

Use of the platform for any other purpose is prohibited.

Account Ownership & Responsibility

Parent Accounts
• Parent accounts are owned by the registering parent
• Parents are responsible for all activity under their account
• Accounts may be used only for the registered child

School Accounts
• School accounts are owned by the registered school
• School administrators are responsible for:
• Issuing credentials
• Supervising student use
• Preventing misuse

Prohibited Activities

The following actions are strictly prohibited:
• Sharing login credentials with others
• Allowing multiple users to use the same account
• Using school credentials outside school premises
• Using VPNs, proxies, or location-masking tools
• Attempting to bypass time, device, or network restrictions
• Using automated scripts, bots, or scraping tools
• Reselling or commercialising access
• Reverse engineering or tampering with the platform

Device Binding Rules

Parent Accounts
• Parent accounts are bound to a limited number of devices
• New device access requires additional verification
• Concurrent device usage is blocked

School Student Accounts
• Each student account is bound to one device
• Device changes require school administrator action

Session Control
• Only one active session per account is permitted
• Logging in from a new session automatically logs out previous sessions
• Only one active test session is allowed at any time

Network & Location Enforcement (Schools)

School-issued student accounts:
• May be used only on approved school networks
• Are blocked on home, mobile, or public networks
• Are blocked when VPN or proxy use is detected

Time-Based Access Enforcement (Schools)
• Student access is limited to school-defined hours
• Access outside permitted hours is automatically denied
• Time restrictions apply regardless of location

Monitoring & Misuse Detection

The platform monitors:
• Login patterns
• Device changes
• Location anomalies
• Repeated access violations

Monitoring is limited to security and operational purposes only.

Enforcement Actions

If misuse is detected, MyTransferTeacher may:
• Temporarily suspend access
• Require re-verification
• Revoke promotional benefits
• Terminate accounts in severe cases

Decisions are based on system logs and usage patterns.

No Circumvention Guarantee

Users must not attempt to bypass security mechanisms.
Any attempt to do so will be treated as a serious violation.

Reporting Misuse

Schools and parents may report suspected misuse through official support channels.
Reports are reviewed internally.

Policy Enforcement Authority

This policy is enforced automatically by the system and administratively by authorised staff.
No user has the right to demand exemption from security controls.

Updates to This Policy

This policy may be updated to reflect:
• New security threats
• Platform improvements
• Legal requirements

Continued use indicates acceptance of updates.
